Cancellation Policy
When you schedule an appointment with me, I hold that time for you and look forward to seeing you. If you are unable to attend a session due to a medical or other emergency, there will be no charge for rescheduling. Please notify me as soon as you can and we will make other arrangements.
For non-emergency cancellations, I need to know 72 hours from our scheduled appointment. If you do not notify me or if you do not show up for your session, you will be billed for the full fee.
This policy is designed to respect the possibility that an emergency could arise for you at any time. It is also designed to alllow me to offer your time to someone else if you cannot make our appointment.
My practice is very busy and many couples and individuals are awaiting news of a cancellation, which is why I require the 72-hour notice for any changes you would like to make in our scheduling. This way, I can offer your time to someone else who will be happy to have it. Otherwise, the time is lost to them and to me, and for this reason, you will be responsible for the fee.
On rare occasions due to an emergency in my work, I might need to contact you to reschedule. Should this happen, we will find the earliest possible next appointment that meets your scheduling needs.
